Polaris (USA) is the world’s largest manufacturer of Light Tactical Vehicles (LTV), All Terrain Vehicles, Rangers and Snowmobiles. Every piece is designed to rigid Polaris standards and built to stand-up to just anything in their path. Whether it is an LTV, an ATV, 6 x 6 Ranger Utility Vehicle in any of it many available variants, a Snowmobile or any Vehicle from the Polaris stable, it would certainly have a matchless All Terrain Capability.
Armies of many countries have tried & tested Polaris Light Tactical Vehicles especially fabricated and modified for defense use. The Polaris Ranger, the Polaris Sportsman LTV, the Polaris All Terrain Vehicle and the Polaris Snowmobile provide rapid mobility & deployment of weapons systems in any terrain including deserts, forests, marshland and mountains. Polaris is truly preferred and a favorite amongst the Marines and Special Forces the world over.
It is significant to mention that Polaris has been chosen as the single supplier for such machines and is currently under use by more than 50 of the world’s best armies. Polaris LTV’s / ATV’s are battle proven in the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq. The US army has testified to their operational success under different conditions including extreme temperature and altitudes.
Our LTV / ATV concept is based on single chassis, multiple variants, multiple use, multi configuration force multiplier that can be customized to any requirement. Naturally most armies of world have eliminated all vehicular concepts between heavy utility vehicles (e.g. Humvee) and the Polaris Light Tactical Vehicle. Significantly, the Polaris LTV has been used as a Tactical Reconnaissance Vehicle, designed for shoot & scoot capabilities. The Polaris LTV is ideally suited for dessert terrain, swamps, mountains or urban road use for anti-insurgency operations.
